Graduation and Degree Ceremony for 2016 graduates was held on 24th Dec in HITSZ. The ceremony was hosted by Vice Rector ZHOU Chaoying. Rector YAO Yingxue gave remark at the ceremony. Members of the Degree Committee and over 600 faculty members and students participated in the event.

ZHOU Chaoying declared the decision for degree-conferring to graduates in the year of 2016, which included 7 doctors, 564 masters, and 3 graduates with Master Degree of Engineering. Yao Yingxue and members of the Degree Committee awarded the degrees to all the graduates.

Yao Yingxue gave a closing remark on the ceremony, and expressed his congratulation to all the graduates. He said, HITSZ is building its undergraduate programs and has made great progress. He hoped that all the graduates should continue to follow the high standard of HIT after graduation. He welcomed all the graduates to come back to HITSZ five years later when HIT celebrates its 100th anniversary. The ceremony ended in the sound of solemn pledge of graduates and HIT anthem. A ring engraved with the name of HITSZ and the name of each graduate was given as souvenir to all the graduates from HITSZ.
