A delegation led by Jie Tang, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government，visited International Space University (ISU) on 26th. Rector Ying-xue Yao was one of the members of the delegation.

Walter Peeters, President of the International Space University, extended sincere welcome to the delegation and introduced basic information as well as features of international cooperation of ISU in recent years.

Jie Tang introduced the historical and economic development of Shenzhen, especially the important role that space science and technology played in future. He then hoped that a joint college could be set by Shenzhen Municipal Government, HIT and International Space University.

Ying-xue Yao gave a brief introduction of the latest development of HIT and HITSZ. He retrospected the progress in MOU signing between two universities last year and hoped to push forward an all-round cooperation in joint degree programs with ISU.

During the meeting, both sides discussed details of the agreement and proposed suggestions for further cooperation.
