HITSZ Professor Bing Li has entered in the list of “Young Leading Talent for Scientific and Technological Innovation 2014” by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China recently. There are 306 scholars in the list and 4 from Harbin Institute of Technology. These scholars will be supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology to lead the front-edge development in their specific research fields.

Professor Bing Li has been working on the theoretical research and industrial transformation of Robotic Mechanism and published more than 50 papers in international journals including ASME Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics、ASME Journal of Mechanical Design、ASME Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering、IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics、IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems、Mechatronics. He has won awards of state and provincial levels and his projects gained financial support from the National Natural Scientific Foundation of China and National Sci-tech Supporting Plan. He is now head of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation as well as director of the Shenzhen Laboratory of Robotic Technology and System Engineering.
