1. Founded in 2002, HIT Shenzhen is a branch campus of HIT;

2. 10 schools and 4 research centers, with research focusing on information technology, intelligent equipment manufacturing, materials, artificial intelligence, and smart cities etc;

3. 7 full-time academician;

   ● Among the 500+ full-time teachers in HITSZ, 80% of them have studied and worked overseas, and 90% have been recognized as high-level talents by the city and nation;

1. More than 60% of graduates are employed in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area;

2. More than 70% of the graduates work in Huawei, Tencent, Mindray and other well-known enterprises;

3. More than 100 graduates have founded enterprises, 89% are scientific and technological enterprises, and 85% have been founded in Shenzhen. A number of national-level enterprises, including Liqun Automation Technology Co., Ltd., Sagitar Juchuang Technology Co., Ltd. and Kuaikan World Technology Co., Ltd., have emerged. Who Can Apply?

1. Bachelor: Be a high school diploma holder or its equivalent;

2. Master: Be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs;

3. PhD: Be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs;

   Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and comply with the relevant regulations set by the“Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ";Be in good health both mentally and physically.

• Step 3: Wait for admission result. Qualified applications will get an official Admission Notice from HITSZ after their application was successfully submitted.

Application Materials

All bellowed documents shall be submitted online:

1. Application Form at HITSZ (filled in online);

2. Passport home page;

3. Notarized previous school diploma or degree certificate;

4. Notarized official transcripts;

5. Language qualification certificates：

   Chinese-taught programs: HSK level 4 ≥ 210 scores;

   English-taught programs: TOEFL≥80 , IELTS≥ 6.0 or Duolingo English Test ≥ 90;

   No certificates for first language is English;

6. A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form ( within 6 months );

7. Valid non-criminal record report (within 6 months );

8. Bank Statement (enough to cover your expenses);

9. Payment receipt of application fee (Screen Shot).

*Notes:  1. Check-in procedures for campus dormitory should be handled after school registration;

2. School dorms are only for students;

    3. HITSZ implements an insurance system for all international students. The international students must insure themselves according to relevant state regulations and school requirements.

*Note:   1. Province scholarship and Shenzhen scholarship will be determined on October-November each year and very limited amounts with off-line to submit all documents. For HITSZ scholarship will be applied and determined while you doing the online application;

2. Guangdong Province、Shenzhen and HITSZ are three different scholarship;

3. One student only can enjoy one scholarships at once, except PhD students.

4. The HITSZ PhD Cultivate Fund for doctoral students shall be paid after the doctoral students pass the examination of the Professor. For doctoral students who fail the examination of the Professor, the Fund may be reduced or stopped according to the regulations.
