SHENZHEN, October 17 ---- Harbin Insititute of Technology, Shenzhen(HITSZ)held the closing ceremony for its 2024 International Organization and Global Governance Talent Development Program and launched the 2025 academic year cohort.
Faculty and student representatives shared their experiences. They reported significant gains in professional knowledge, international perspective, and comprehensive skills through the program’s cross-cultural exchanges. They committed to leveraging these insights to contribute to the campus’s internationalization and foster stronger China-world connections.
The hybrid ceremony featured an online segment. Advisors from the “New Youth Initiative” and officials from the China Education Association for International Exchange detailed the program’s structure during this virtual session.
According to the International Affairs Office, the program is aiming to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with global competence and digital intelligence. Over 100 students from across the campus were selected for the 2025 cohort. They will study global governance through specialized courses, with future opportunities for internships at the United Nations and other international organizations, contributing HIT’s expertise to global engagement.
