SHENZHEN，Aug 20, 2025 – This summer, students from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ) participated in a wide range of social practice and volunteer service activities, demonstrating leadership, empathy, and a strong commitment to community engagement.

Many students volunteered as support staff for a major national sporting event, providing friendly and efficient assistance to visitors and athletes at key transportation centers. Their efforts highlighted the important role young people play in hosting large-scale events.

Several student groups also embarked on educational trips across the country. Some conducted field research in western regions, visiting companies and communities to better understand local economic and social development. Others organized summer learning programs in rural areas, leading creative educational activities designed to inspire children and broaden their horizons.

Additionally, students toured technology companies and research institutes to gain exposure to cutting-edge innovations and explore potential career paths. On the volunteer front, HITSZ students led numerous community outreach programs—including science workshops, art classes, and inclusive activities for children with special needs—applying their academic knowledge in practical and compassionate ways.
