[HITSZ news] (text and images by He Zikai, Huang Wenbin, and Yujie) With support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and Shenzhen Basic Research Foundation, the team of Associate Prof. He Zikai from HITSZ's School of Sciences recently made important progress in regulating organic triplet excitons. Their research project covers the full relaxation process, which includes the efficient generation, fast transfer, controlled radiation, and stimuli-responsive non-radiation of excitons. That has given rise to a new mechanism of excited-state photophysics.
