Associate Prof. Wang Guigen’s team from the School of Materials Science and Engineering and Shenzhen Key Laboratory for New Material Research, together with Yang Ya, a researcher from Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made fresh progress in efficient hydrogen production facilitated by electronic structure regulation on the surface of low-dimensional materials. Their findings were published as a paper titled Interfacial Electronic Structure Engineering on Molybdenum Sulfide for Robust Dual-pH Hydrogen Evolution (Nature Communications, 2021, 12: 5206).
