Students from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Won the First Place in SemEval-2021 Task 5


Announced on March 3, 2021 Recently, the "HITSZ-HLT" team with Zhang Yice, Lin Zijie, Zhu Qinglin, Sun Jingyi and other students from the Intelligent Computing Research Center as team members and Professor Xu Ruifeng as instructor won the top spot in SemEval-2021 Task 5: Toxic Spans Detection task, and students from the School of Computer Science and Technology have once again emerged in international competitions.

SemEval (International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation), sponsored by the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL), is a series of authoritative semantic evaluation competitions with the largest scale and the largest number of participants in the world. It has been held for fifteen times so far with a high influence in academic circles and industrial circles.
