[Announced by Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen] (Fan Xin/Text, Photo) Recently, students from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen won 3 national first prizes and 3 national second prizes, as well as 9 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 16 third prizes of Guangdong Province in CUMCM 2019.

CUMCM is a basic discipline contest for college students in China. In the contest period, students in groups of three complete a paper including model building and solving, calculation method design and computer realization, result analysis and inspection, etc.

This contest attracted 42,992 teams from home and abroad and nearly 130,000 college students to compete on the same stage. Finally, 295 teams stood out and won the national first prizes. (Editor Xie Lianghui)
