2. About Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ)

5. Who Can Apply

  • Nationality Requirements: Must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China;

  • Legal and Cultural Compliance: Required to respect Chinese customs and abide by all regulations and laws in China, with no criminal record;

  • Age Range: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 55 years old;

  • Health Requirements: Must be in good mental and physical health;

  • Financial Responsibility: Must have the financial capability to cover the costs associated with studying and living in Shenzhen.

 

6. Application Materials

  • Passport Identification: Passport home page;

  • Health Certification: A copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, issued within six months prior to the application submission date;

  • Criminal Record Certification: Certificate of non-criminal record, valid within six months;

  • Financial Proof: Evidence demonstrating the ability to cover living expenses while studying in Shenzhen;

  • Highest Education Degree Certificate: A copy of the highest education  degree certificate ever obtained;

  • Underage Applicant Requirement: Applicants under 18 years old as of 1st September, 2024, must provide a letter of guarantee from a guardian;

  • Academic Documentation: Official transcripts and an Attendance Certificate from previous educational institutions, applicable to individuals who have studied at any school or university in China;

  • Latest Degree Application Fee Proof: Proof of payment for the application fee (Screenshot).

 

Note: All application documents must be submitted in English or Chinese. Submission of all documents shall be conducted online.

 

7. How to Apply 

Step 1 – Online Application Submission

Access the online application system via http://hitsz.at0086.cn/student (for computers) or http://hitsz.at0086.cn/mobile/student (for mobile devices)

Complete the necessary application details and upload the required documents.  

Step 2 – Application Fee Payment

Submit the application fee of CNY 400 / USD 60. Please note that this fee is non-refundable once the application has been submitted.

(1) Bank Transfer Payment Method: Transfer the required funds directly to the HITSZ’s account. Below are the details for the remittance(Please mind that the Account Name "HARBIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, SHENZHEN" should all be in capital letters):

Step 3 – Upload Payment Receipt and Submit Application

After paying the application fee, upload the payment receipt and complete the submission of your application online.

Step 4 – Track Admission Results

Monitor your admission status. An Admission Notice will be issued by HITSZ to qualified applicants following the successful submission of their applications.
